The Swell Season performed at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on January 19th, 2010 with Josh Ritter opening. It was an absolutely incredible night to say the least and they knew the perfect way to get it started. Glen said on Twitter at 7:27pm on January 19th, "Let's go busking!" and they did just that. I was waiting on the sidewalk while my great friend, Michael Rhodes, was inside getting the tickets when I heard some music, saw a crowd forming, spotted Glen, and darted straight for them. If only I still had my guitar from busking earlier I would have joined them. Glen even told me later, "Awww, you should have jumped in there!" and Lord knows I would have, haha. You've gotta love people that simply love music and love sharing it like they do.

  • We were in line to get in when they all walked out the side door, right in front of us, tuba's and all, and proceeded to go around to front and perform for those who couldn't get tickets. We couldn't hear them, but I think that was the point! It was a phenomenal show, esp from the 3rd row! :)

  • @lynger41 it's was great to seem them do it. 3rd row? which side? I was BBB 23 on the left (stage right)

  • Wow, I can see how you're towering over everyone. Haha. Great video, always great to see their enthusiasm and passion for music.

  • @dreamquarter I had a great view, right? haha

  • @thepinkpatriot I can't believe I missed that guy's comment. You replying to it brought it to my attention and he's blocked and the message is deleted.

  • @rah0wa first of all it's "too" you're comment is gross and you don't represent white people...I certainly hope that you don't represent "white" people. They wouldn't have you...gross to the inth degree.

  • Wow- great video!!!! Would have loved to have been there!

  • @tallie.. we were in 3rd row right side. It doesn't get any better (attempted to see them in Philly 2 years ago, drove for hours in biblical rain only to end up forfeitting our 2nd row seats!) this only made it that much sweeter.. it was also my 50th bday! What a gift! :o)

  • i love the fact that you actually see and feel than glen and mar and the others are really doing all this for the beauty of music and for the love they feel for music... they`re brilliant! :)
