ok, maybe in the "classic vocabulary" (a la montgomery) Louis is so in Martinos level, but dont forget that martino is a damn complete musician that can play straight classic jazz to absolut modern fusion check his "special door" song thats martino mastering many vocabularies to the newest sounds even today, the man is a pioneer! cheers to music!
He obviously listened to Pat. His technique is not as deep and thick as Pat's and his lines are not connected in the same way. I do think Louis is wonderful though and very engaging to listen to.
