In the tv show Dick Darstadly and Muttely are most likely first because they have time to set up traps. However they lose because they set up the traps and they go wrong...

Yes. In the show, they never win, so the announcer is surprised in the game when they do.

@rtmyt definatly do NOT use the mean machine here, there is no way it can stand up to the red max. I'm no expert and i managed a 1:10:63 against hard oponents. However that is on ps2, I'm not sure how the ps2 and computer differ on wacky races but i assume it cant make that much difference

@rtmyt I just had a go in time trial with the haybailer and got 1:16:48 first time :D
i'm guessing that because you posted that a year ago the record has probably been beaten but oh well

You have the right path, now the goal is to maximize efficiency with wacky tokens. Optimally you want to be in 1st by the time you cross the first stream. Always keeps some wacky tokens in reserve for boosting over that stream. For the final lap crash into the right goal post rather than crossing the finish line to save a few seconds. This is the fastest course for the title and the best on records is an amazing 1:17.14. Definitely use the Mean Machine here but for time trial use the Haybailer.
