  • Good job heath. Your an inspiration to every actor out there, including me. Im so sorry you couldnt be there to accept your award. you are missed and loved. R.I.P.

  • I adore Heath, and this character is one of my favs ever, even more so because of him. BUT, I don't think he would have gotten this award had he not died. I don't even think people would have been AS wowed even. And that's what saddens me the most. I've followed his career since 10 things and he always remained my fav actor. He was a chameleon onscreen and this only shows how pathetic and fake Hollywood is. Where the greats must die before getting any real cred. Hollywood, go fuck yourself.

  • I dig how Robert Downey Jr and Heath Ledger got the same stare

  • @tyeslater scroll up mate

  • @Thatguy32321 so youre pretty much saying you couldnt beileve ledger pulled of the joker cuz of his other roles and thatsmakes it great acting...

  • "The Joker" IS a one dimensional comic book character...what did you expect?

  • @kthevsd you're so right! TDK isn't an overrated film...it's one of the most underrated films together with requiem for a dream or the pianist which didn't received many prizes

  • he broke the shackle. he made all see that, still a comic book character can make it damn awesome to grab the award which was bound for some characters other than those of comic books.

  • I agree! Though, the ending seemed off to me.

  • Well that shows how little you know about good acting. One note is when you are the same throughout the film, Heath wasn't like that at all, when he got angry or really happy his voice tone and body language would compeltely change. The thing that makes his performance one of the best ever is that you can't believe its the same guy from Brokeback or any of his films, he's completwely different in every way. Chews the scenery ? Did you miss the fact that he's playing The Joker ?

  • One note ? LOL. When actor disappears into his character that automatically makes it not one note... not to mention hsi drastic mood changes is the opposite of one note. And what does it matter what you saw ? People who know far more about acting than either of us thought he was brilliant. End of story. I mean I could say LeBron is not a great player but if the likes of Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan say he's great than he is.
