I'm curious does it work on CYMA's? Specifically on a CM047C (AK-74M)???

@derrickkolba Your wrong. This is the gen III model with additional side ribs to prevent accidental shut off. The gen I had none of these features.

Actually.. Leapers makes a replacement receiver cover that has a rail mounted on it. Midway sells 'em: midwayusa _dot_ com/viewProduct/?productnumber
=714473 I haven't tried it yet, but I'm hoping it'll be sturdy enough. In theory, "it should be fine". :)

Well I ended up with a Tantal.. great little AK but no siderail. I've just got a good excuse to buy another AK now.

fwiw, the Inter Ordnance AK's do _not_ have the rail on the left side.
