Kid's Trip Party by Aaron Stewart Benson

Recalling an intense event to a friend with all the bells and whistles of storytelling still makes an event hard to capture. Pacing, key moments, sounds, feeling, states of mind, and so on can affect the communication of the story. This is one of the few pieces of work that was created in a team with me doing a majority of the editing and all of the sound editing. This experimental video purports to capture the RAW memory of recollection surround and intense event. Every year at Ohio State, the Thursday before the big Michigan Football game, thousands turn out to jump in the lake to show their commitment to an Ohio State victory. Considering the number of victories against Michigan in recent years it is hard to argue that logic. Begin that it is Ohio and the game happens in late November/December, the lake can have ice on it at times. Pink-eye happens, but that doesn't stop enthusiastic/drunk student from taking part in the annual event. Recall the RAWness with me in Kids Trip Party.
