Hi Gang, I love modern trains as much as everyone else, but I have a special love for Classic Lionels. Here is a short clip of my 1937, 1946 & 1954 Lionel sets. Music is Midnight Train by Bona Fide. Hope you enjoy... Be Well & Be Safe !!!

  • really beautiful nostalgic trains and a fantastic well done video thanks for sharing this

  • @GunMetalJeep45 Very good to hear from you Will... Glad you enjoyed the old timers running... Really appreciate the kind comment. Hope all is well with you & Kate...

  • Really neat video Dan, it gave off a different feeling than others. All the classics look great. I know this isnt in the video, but I was thinking about saving up the money and buying my dad an old 736 Berkshire for christmas next year... you think he'd like it?

    Jared

  • @PRRK4Lover Thank you Jared... you always leave nice comments... Glad you enjoyed this, it is something different. I'm in the process of bringing a 736 back from the grave myself, I know your Dad would love one.

  • Really great video! I loved the slo-mo effect and will try it on a future video, and the music really enhances the overall feel. Ed

  • @marxtoynut Thank you very much Ed, glad you enjoyed a trip back down memory lane... Windows Live movie maker does have some great effects and features and is a lot of fun to play with when creating a vid. I thought the smooth jazz fit well also... Be Well my Friend !!!

  • @Trainbrain1949 Wow John, an original Scout set still in the hands of the original owner ? thats very rare today... I know it hold some really special memories for you.... Great to hear you still have your collection and have come back to the fold so to speak... Thanks for the great comment my friend...

  • Like this video. I got my first Lionel Scout when I was a year and a half old in 1950. I still have it along with ALL my post war trains my parents bought me. Went into HO for a while, but sold most of it to buy Lionl.

  • @lionel153 Thank you for the very nice comment... Really glad you enjoyed my claisscis, they are some of my favorites of my collection. They are true American craftsmanship. We need to return to more " MADE IN THE USA " !!!
