A quick tutorial to get you started with TuneMaker, a new iPhone app which turns your iPhone or iPod into a musical instrument. If you want to learn to play an instrument, write music, sing along, or record a song, TuneMaker can help. When you fire-up the application, you see the main screen, with 16 instruments. Drums, guitars, synthesizers, violins and so on. The quickest way to see what TuneMaker can do, is to play one of th demo songs which are included. There are 40 rhythms and songs pre-installed. Rock drums, hiphop, classical themes, famous pop songs, to name a few.

  • when I first bought the app, there was a statement in the app info page saying "Tunemaker can't save your music as an audio or midi-file (this may be added in a future version)"...It still say's this over 1 1/2 years later.... Please send the update

  • I've had this app since Jan, 2010, and I can't get enough of it. It is definitely the app I play with the most. I just wish I could export my music somehow. Whether it be through e-mail in a generic audio format (doesn't even need to be MP3), or be able to save the file and transfer it to my computer somehow into a program like Fruity Loops. Other than that, I have no complaints. For now, I hook up an audio cable out of my ipod and into my PC's mic jack. Quality sucks this way......

  • NEDERLANDS??!!

  • We can't hear you mate!! Try speaking into a real mic next time!!

Video is pretty much useless since you don't have a pair and can't speak up!!

  • I love this app. I cannot get enough of it. You all who have created this app I thank you all for it. I know a lot of people have been complaining about the app doing this and not doing that but pay them no attention. I think the app is perfect! The ONLY drawback I see is the limited instruments. I only wish there were more instruments because it would open a lot more features of music making for this app. I hope it's in a coming update. [for the ones who paid of course =P]
