PARENTS JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND

i'll say it again, I'M VERY GRATEFUL FOR MY MOM!
i know some people may not have moms that say all this stuff to them
and i know she does/says stuff cause she loves/cares/adores for me
i am fully aware :)

does anything like this ever happen to you?
i think it'd be cool to hear what kind of things other people's parents do to annoy them
i mean, to show that they really love and care about them...

@Vanillafang i love you...i...you are my situation ahaha! same here! i can't hide the things i want, so i HAVE to BEG FOREVER (i'm now 20, been wanting things since about 17) to convince them! but they'll still talk about me and make dramatic statements like that! i'll ask to get it done to MY body with MY money that IIII earned at MY job...but still get "no"s...shoot, i'll offer to GIVE my mom $20 and still "no"s. i'm not her, sorry. This is exactly my situation. I'm 20 and i recently got my cartilage pierced, I paid for it with MY money that I earned on MY own and my mother makes me take it out. I got it done again and I have to hide it. I want an industrial bar and my lip pierced, but good god, my second piercing...my parents told me to go live in a trailer park. Now I love my parents but they're so high strung they think i'm doing this for attention when I just really like the look!
