If you pay the balance minus 10 dollars in one month, watch the rate drop down very low. Seeing a sudden near balance payment scares them so they drop the rate to "KEEP YOU".
Amen hoot7969! Pmt allocation is the same across the board. He forgot to mention all that information is sent out to you in the terms & conditions-either w/a stmt or in a seperate mailing. Not an easy read for the average cardholder; but if you don't understand the terms...call. People BORROW money that isn't theirs and expect it to be free. If you BORROW more than you can afford-that's your fault. How about some personal accountability here. Pay back in full what you BORROWED on time.
god bless, an old associate who couldn't do his job properly. Are MBNA the only company to follow payment allocation? mmmmmmm....NO. Forgot to mention payment allocation has all changed which makes this video A)PANTS and B)DATED.
Here's how you start to fix all these problems
Everyone.
Take that credit card and cut it up.
Call them and cancel the account.
Dont just stop useing it because they are working on a new penalty charge for "NOT USING" your card.
they will crap themselves when 40 million people call them up.. Then they wont have a choice but to fix it. Its as easy as that...
I declare March 1st 2010 the day we all call them. and take control. Everyone pass it on.
