This product Highlight talks about the various Canon Macro Lenses 50mm 2.5, 60mm 2.8, 65mm 2.8, 100mm 2.8L IS. This production also compares these four lenses what kind of pictures you should expect. This video was shot on a Canon 5D mark II.
EF100mm2.8IS focuses from 30cm to infinity, it's easier to use handheld with AF and IS.
Uses: for portraits and 1:1 macro.
MP-E65mm2.8 got only MF, focuses within 10cm and less, you will need bright external light source as it lets less light in viewfinder when it exdends. It's the only specialist macro lens that lets you get 1-5 close up. Trick i discovered is that x2 teleconverter works on it well (though canon doesnt advertise this fact) and you get x10 life size! Uses: extreme macro work.
Any focusing issues with 60mm?
