Nigeria is corrupt thanks to Switzerland, UK, USA, etc. When crooks steal millions from the Nigerian treasury, such loots end up in the aforementioned countries, but you don't see anybody conducting any investigations.

They all gladly hide the money, while pointing fingers at Nigerians.

As for dambe, is it really anything close to gangs in America who kill hundreds of thousands each year? Before you condemn another nation as violent, look first in your own backyard.

@kaindrg Ancient Egyptian boxing looks more like ancient Hellenistic boxing if I'm not mistaken. What you are thinking of is the modern Egyptian fighting style. Dambe looks somewhat like Hellenistic boxing (They even wrapped their hands in rope), although they didn't use their hands to immitate their shield and spear to my knowledge.

I don't think so. Historians speculate that Dambe is closely related to Ancient Egyptian or Hellenistic boxing. Muay Thai is the fusion and modernization of various Southeast Asian kickboxing styles classified as Muay Boran (lit. "Ancient Boxing").
