Maj Michael "Slick" Casey - the F15 aggressor squadron from Nellis AFB, is flying red air for northern edge. The aggressors are the professional OPFOR for the air force. They are responsible for instructing pilots around the air force on enemy technology and tactics.
@molley17 They use the paint schemes of Russian aircraft, specifically Su-27 and MiG-29. Aggressor squadrons play the role of enemy aircraft in training and also act as "teachers" - they specifically specialize in use of enemy tactics.

Since Iraq is now an ally, think Aggressor Squadrons can score some of their old MiG's?
Switch from "Dissimilar Aircraft" to "Similar/Exact Aircraft"?

Well, they did just explain it in the video.
An aggressor squad studies and master the tactics, techniques, and technology of foreign air forces, and then simulates the manner in which they would fight against air force fighter pilots.
The point is to keep our pilots up-to-date.

At the Air Force Academy just this last week we've had the Aggressors flyover the Academy twice - once at the football game vs. BYU, and another time this morning before formation. Very sweet aircraft.
