und so we have 2007s hardware crushing Crytek game Crysis , the one we all used to spend 3k building rigs to run the menu screen at 5fps , here it is on the Fusion Garage Joojoo tablet , at 1366 768 and 1024 768 . The opening level of a Crytek game is always something to remember , the way night transitions to day and your suits powers are revealed , and not forgetting the OPEN nature you can use to play the game , almost a sandbox fps . Genius games design , and now many years later thegameveda can finally play it at more than 5fps ,thanks to a joojoo tablet running Windows 7 with a humble Atom cpu , and a mighty nVidia Ion.A combination that currently makes the joojoo the ultimate Windows 7 gaming tablet , heck I even use to play Crysis 2 , but then I am part of the il33t3rati! You see whilst I could play it 200fps at 5120 by 1600 on my gaming rig , that is not the way of thegameveda , and these days my gaming rig uploads youtube video of my lofi gaming!

  • At least it runs Crysis. :D

  • @Adrammalech7570 it also runs Crysis 2 faster than a gaming rig using Gaikai!

  • @THEGAMEVEDA Actually, that would depend on the rig itself. A 6770 won't compare to a 6950, for example. Also, what happens if the interwebz goes down for w/e reason and you still want to play?

  • @Adrammalech7570 the interweb go down ..never.We are soon going to see interweb acceleration like we saw graphics acceleration , the cool thing about streaming is all the upgrading is done on their end not yours you never need worry about 6770s or 6950s . or patches, dlc or drivers , check my video of Gaikai used to play Crysis 2 there is 16 minutes of gameplay without a single drop in frame or internet connection . The interweb go down ...never!

  • @THEGAMEVEDA

For my home's wifi, consider these scenarios.

Scenario: *trips over ethernet cable* Internet's down.

Scenario 2 : Power is out, router is down, no internet.

Scenario 3: Away from home, no internet.

While services like Gaikai are great for those who don't want to mess with hardware, don't pretend it will replace Local run games, because nothing ever will replace the benefit of having the capability of running a game independent of any internet. Crysis runs bauss on my laptop btw.

  • @Adrammalech7570 the internet is everywhere,an invisible force that binds all living beings ... who are infected with midichlorians,so they tell me .Local gaming rocks but currently the amount of games I have would require a container ship to cart around and they are decaying as I type this. Big business will force the interweb to be everywhere, wifi ,cable free ,and powered by the motions of the Moon, frankly it should be a human right ! JFK would make speeches about it if he was still around.

  • Can some1 send me a private message on how to put windows 7 on my joojoo tablet?

  • watch my vid on black ops and mw2 its on the asus 1201n great vid

  • @THEGAMEVEDA Long as I have the option of playing locally (I haz a good PC), then I'll leave well enough alone. Soon as some moron tries to force players to only play on the cloud, there will be rage, and hacking, some pirating, and finally a sound beating to whoever tried to force a switch in the first place.

Simply put, I won't buy into the cloud. Many of the rumors of needing to upgrade again within a year are often very heavily exaggerated. My Nvidia 9600 still performs admirably.

  • @FRAGNITION the joojoo : old games yes new games maybe .. if you stream there is no heat !say you want to play Assassins Creed ..from steam using your gpu ,it heats up.Now go for the onlive version which you click and play , because it is streamed - your GPU and CPU are not taxed at all, you can see me running Mass Effect 2 on Steam and streaming it through Gaikai and play Assassins Creed Brotherhood onlive whilst messing with it on the iconia with no heat build up or slow down.

  • @THEGAMEVEDA What about the heat? My alienware burns up when I play any demanding game for more than an hour ¬_¬ Could you hold this in your hands while gaming?
