  • Dissolving the teeth, bodies, and eyes of two women in your own house? $40. Wrapping the remains in an esoteric local newspaper after two weeks work? Priceless. There are some measures of common sense an MD can't buy.

  • Although I am against the Death Penalty (bcos too many innocent ppl have been framed) I confess it gives me some satisfaction to hear these historic murderers were hung, although evidence of their guilt, or confession, shows they did deserve that punishment. In general modern day murderers aware of forensic techniques can pull too many tricks to conceal their ID 4 the DP to be a safe verdict now unless evidence is absolutely conclusive and damning. The gaol workhouse is better than the noose...

  • many doctor's during the 1800's and early 1900s even before this did not have extra scrubs to just throw on...people did not think of germs then and needing different clothes to change into for operations. how many movies have you seen where doctor's would attend a circled theatre to watch another doctor perform some new surgery and they would wear suites to do it in.

  • @CloverCATOREE a doctor from the early 1900s, before they even thought it necessary to wear scrubs and even didn't believe in bacteria!!. Your stupidity amazes me to be perfectly honest.

  • 08:52 matthew says, "oh there is no doubt, thats mine." yeah matthew we know, we saw u do it lol.

  • very interesting to see how forensics came about and developed into what it is today

  • @jarvisel yep, priceless stupidity.... lol

  • So it wasn't thought unusual that his suit was bloodstained because he was a doctor that performed surgery? WHAT DOCTOR DOES SURGERY IN A SUIT!? wow the stupidity amazes me

  • from what ive read this doctor seemed like an okay sort of guy who would treat poor people for free and was basically a decent man, however like us all he just got consumed by jealousy and when it comes to love our reason and sanity can fly out the window.

  • every day im a victim

  • So well-put-together series: history, science and human nature. Love seeing the actual photos, period costumes and objects; the brown tinted color also gives the dramatizations that old-looking effect. Great host: love his little quips and reaction to demonstrations! He’s learning along with the viewers. He also reminds me of Sir Ian McKellen. Maybe it’s his kind yet sharp eyes. When he’s in the study room, it’s like the scene where Gandalf pores through ancient scrolls at the library.^_^

  • absolutley fascinating
