I have been a lurker for years. But it took working with a young earth creationist for me to realize that I need to speak up and be heard. Even if I am not that good of a speaker. So whether I am posting here or somewhere else, I feel that I should give back to atheist community that has put up so much good material. It is that community that I am now a part of and if youtube doesnt want us, I am sure someone else does.

It is supposed to stop the videos from showing up in searches and "popular" video lists.

Google search engines are demoting other non-Youtube video sharing sites just as they are demoting and censoring our Youtube videos and channels. Google is buying up the internet. It is breaking anti-monopoly laws. Google has too much power. They are censoring the entire internet. Google has just censorsed, demoted, and prevented 3/4 of the Youtube community from promoting their videos and channels. I don't think even Chairman Mao or Hitler censored so many people in such a short time.

I am considering the idea of creating an "atheist tube" website.

I dont have the funds at this very moment, but if youtubes policies start to affect our civil and freedom rights in favor of the usual mindlesss video garbage that youtube likes to promote so much, i will make it.

right now, the comments i get really arent that useful. i will make another video about this topic, this is starting slow but i think that something can be accomplished.

it means that the video will not show up in top rated / most discussed / most viewed. and i guess it will also be less likely to show up as a search result, in the related videos, and so on. we will see. but youtube definitively made a very bad decision here, bad for the community.
