You could avoid the alarm by going to the guard room and bribing the guard with Mein Kampf or just beating him and pouring beer in the machine, but after that the escape would get tricky and it wouldn't go like it did in the movie at all.

You can also give the guard the "small book" from the beginning of the game that resembles the Grail Diary--that way you can skip the trip to get the diary back.

Impressive that you can get through the castle without a single fight though, I was terrible at this when I was younger...
