Alex: more like jail
They both sigh
AT SCHOOL
David: hey guys!
Thomas: I haven’t seen you since… yesterday!
Qaasim: sup guys?
Nat: hey!
Alex: where’s Coop?
Thomas: oh he’s being homeschooled this year.
David: his mom is worried he’s gonna get bullied.
Alex: that sucks.
Nat: yeah. Where is Rosalina?
Thomas: the first to notice…
Nat: so? We are best friends!
Thomas: sure you are…
Nat: shut up Thomas!
David: she’s organizing her looker. It’s all the way at the other end of the school!
Nat: oh.
Alex: Well I got to go. Elementary school.
Everyone: bye Alex!
Qaasim: so who do you have for homeroom?
Nat: I have Davis
David: Same here!
Thomas: I have Trueblood.
Qaasim: what kind of a name is that?
Thomas: I have no idea.
David: who do you have Qaasim?
Qaasim: Apparently I also have Trueblood.
Nat: is anyone other than me trying out for the basketball team?
Qaasim: I am.
Nat: sweet! (High 5’s Qaasim)
Thomas: aww… Nat wants to be closer to Rosie!
Nat: what are you talking about?
David: Rosalina’s a cheerleader for 6th grade basketball.
Qaasim: yeah. Her and the other cheerleaders are going to be at tryouts and at every practice.
Nat: I didn’t know that.
Thomas: sure you didn’t…
BELL RINGS
All run to class.
AT LUCH
David: hey guys! Do like your teachers?
Qaasim: (starts laughing) Mr. Trueblood is the best!
Thomas: no he isn’t. He made me go to the office to deliver some papers and-
Qaasim: He was talking too loud.
Thomas: and when I came back everyone was gone! He pranked me!
Qaasim: he told us to get our stuff and walk outside where he couldn’t see us.
Thomas: they came back in after a while
Qaasim: yeah he was all like ‘where did you go?’ He looked so scared. It was so funny!
Nat: sounds like it! Ha! Thomas you got pranked… by a teacher!
David: our teacher is the worst!
Nat: She has like 20 chins!
Thomas: LOL!
David: half the period, we were just sitting there because one kid spoke out in class.
Nat: I fell asleep.
David: you were lucky I woke you up. She already gave out 8 detentions!
Qaasim: that’s terrible.
Nat and David: we know.
(They finished up their lunch and went to all the other classes)
