You can here the Elvis-influence here :) I don't think there's on e definitive "King" in reality - Elvis, Buddy Holly, Eddy Cochran, Bo Diddley... and those like them ~ each and every one were unique and vital to the music that liberated the world. None can be disregarded, or put on a pedestal above the others. Hail, hail - rock and roll! Long live the kings and queens of blue suede soul!! ;-)

Like Mrjockos87, who doesn't know his A** from his elbow about music, I was a DJ in a club for 7 years, an oldies club we I played from the 50's to the 70's and I played alot of Holly, Roy , Eddie and of course Elvis, and I also DJ'd an oldies radio station the most requested artist was Elvis then Holly, Roy, and the Eddie, I said this once and I will say it again. I love all these 50's Rock icons but if it was not for Elvis the only true King, non of those other guys would have made it.

He sings, dances and plays the guitar to perfection. Eddie Cochran rocks forever.
