Yeah. Fantastic. This is a lindy-swing style of jive interpretation. And it's a fantastic interpretation. (they are doing lindy style jive. There is no WCS style jive)
So musical, and so in sync with each other. And clearly shows fun element plus full of energy. Maybe folks who are not used to latin does not understand, in latin ballroom, you can't do lift. Plus being musical is the key. Jumping and tricks are not necessary to show the true color of the dance.

I agree with you. I actually A&S's dancing very much. If I have the ability, that's how I will dance regardless I win comp or not. If you saw my comments about bryan w.'s dancing, you will know that i am no fan of the current style of dancing. BUT, I can see why M&S is the current champ, at least they dance a rumba with the musicality of rumba. i don't care much of the spin and splits but at least dance a rumba like a rumba.

Well, remember D&G and A&S dance at a time where the style is very different. Today's routine is highly choreographied and much more athletic. When D&G and A&S were dancing, it was more authentic but less "choreographied", when I first saw the kind of dancing I was very livid. Now, after watching for a bit, I do see the very best of this dancing style has a point. It is like comparing apple and orange, they are different,

Nope, they stopped in 2001, i think.. too bad as they are my fav latin couple next to donnie & gaynor and michael and joanna.
