This guy's a kook
-
I like how Driscoll just assumes that his perverted mental images are the biblical gift of discernment
-
@Charlessandberg2 That is not to say that I suggest we put him to death, but the Bible is clear on what God thinks about "not 100% accurate all the time" visions.
In my opinion, this guy needs to be outed for lying or institutionalized because he believes these visions are real.
-
@Charlessandberg2 Except for the fact that his stories are very suspicious. Yeah sure, like child molesters just up and admit it. Or like people will just say "Well, yeah I DID do that horrible thing you're accusing me of. But how did you know?" so calmly like that. Or how about the fact that this guy admits that his visions aren't 100% accurate all the time. Like I said earlier, in Old Testament law, prophets either to be 100% accurate in their visions or put to death.
-
@Wivanunu Yep. That PROVES that Marky is right, isn't it? Because the Bible says that SOMETIME that will happen, this MUST be what the Bible was talking about, right?
Nobody is saying visions aren't possible. But take a close look at what he's saying and tell me that it isn't suspicious.
-
@tokataro THIS. THIS is why I don't believe a WORD he says.
That and the fact that he admits that his "visions" aren't 100% accurate. And while I don't suggest we take this stance the Old Testament is clear; 100% accurate, or DEAD.

So, how is this different from being Psychic?
This guy is stupid, there is no difference.
-
"I don't talk about this," he said.
-
This channel is little more than angry atheists scolding anyone who doesn't believe as they believe, ironic considering the charges they level at those who do believe.
0:45 "I'm not a guru, I'm not a freak, I don't talk about this..."
Uh, Mark. You're talking about it now, into a headset mic, on a stage, before a live audience, on camera, to be broadcasted over YouTube.

What I find astonishing and horrible is that he said those things to this woman in the context of a counseling session with her and her husband. For him to conjure up accusations and confront her as though he is the wronged spouse is an enormous betrayal. And then to discuss it with his congregation is a violation of the penitent/counselor relationship. This guy has a huge problem with women and should not be in a position of authority in a church.
