Thank God - someone who knows what he's doing that i can just watch - by far the best way to learn a riff! So many wanna-bes and egos on You tube, drives me nuts, and people with expensive guitars who can't really play! Wish all 'guitar lessons' were as clear as this. Someone should go thru you-tube and delete all the dross!

@SoundzAddict When he strikes the A chord he needs to pronounce that note. So when you strum the A chord, strike the A string first, instead of the Low e. Then alternate on the A and E to keep that walking bass line going.
I know that was confusing but I hope that helped. :D

great lesson dude but I would be very interesting to see the strumming pattern you used because it is awesome (I love the strum when you play the A chord)!!! If possible to you to post an other video which showing the right hand, it would be useful because it is the same strumming pattern in most of johnny's tunes.
