i have 8 of them. about 5 are from the 1800's

@bigazzpimp407 Not fake but you're right..Not a Indian..I checked and it is Lady Liberty..Same appears on Barber Half Dollars too.
-
@PolizeiPaul That's not completely true. Alot of numismatists love toned coins and toning doesn't normally decrease the value of a coin unless it's an extreme case. If you have a large cent with an indian on it it's either a token or it's fake.

Exceptional video, the music track really exemplifies the true beauty of those fine examples of a by gone time when our country really took pride in the coinage we minted. You must be very proud of this rare collection, I know I would be!

i have one penny 1893 indian head

These are nice but I think they're worth more if they aren't toned and have that brilliant red that cents have. I got a big 1800's cent..I think it's got a Indian on it too
-
I used to own a few of those. Very nice.

I WANT ONE!
Some of these toned and you can''t do anything about it. I would never dip them to rid the toning. The 1800's cent you have has "Lady Liberty " on it.

How do you tone coins?

Purchase a new proof coin....remove it from the pack it came in, being careful NOT TO TOUCH the surfaces with your fingers or any part of your self. Set it in a velvet lined box for about 100 years, and there you go....
