This is my AFX slot car set that I built last year. By removing one of the 4 crossovers it turns into a 1 player track which makes it a whole lot more fun to drive if there is no one else to drive with. There is 15.54 meters of track on a 2 X 1 meter board which can be hinge mounted on a wall so it can be folded up out of the way. It's a quick track with a mates stock wizard getting around in about 9 seconds for the 1 player setup. 31 meters in 9 seconds!!! I was driving The Viper in the video so you could see the car reasonably well. Green base is fake grass and all the cars surrounding the track are Hot Wheels or other 1/64 scale cars. It has the AFX timing system on it for when the kids use it but it can also be hooked up to a laptop and timed with Lap Timer 2000 http://www.gregorybraun.com . The whole track is hot glued and tacked to the board so it can be folded up against a wall if need be. It's running a 22 Volt 4 Amp DC laptop power supply to stop the lag issue when 2 people are racing together.
Very nice setup, thanks for sharing.
Is that Batmobile really a slot car, who makes it, where did it come from?

@GlennFeitZ I'm afraid the Batmobile is just a Hot wheels model, just for static display. A few of the cars in the pit lane are Hot wheels and various 1/64 toy cars shells put onto Marchon chassis

Hi, the table size is 2 metres long by 1 metre deep. Constructed out of 17mm ply.
