I thought crash sounds in GT5 sucked. However, as it seems, when you bump into other cars in Forza, it sounds like hitting two tin cans against one another. Not being a fanboy but GT5 does look to me a bit more realistic. I wonder what Forza 4 will be like.

dude, im not defending forza but where do u ever see the cockpit of bmw m5 e60? in gran turismo ? but its not released yet, i mean when gran turismo will be released we all will see the cockpit of bmw m5 and will compare ;) (bmw m5 - mah favourite car)
