My cousin also a Canadian went down to Detriot and joined the Army in 1967.He wound up with the Air Cavalry in Vietnam.In 1968 he died in the A Shau Valley.It wasnt the Vietnam war he believed in.It was the Americans he believed in.The same Americans that placed thier flag on the moon for all mankind.You cant just cheer a nation on when they do great things.You stand beside them when they have great need also.

snarf3456, Thank you. I'll will try to contact the agency you suggested, I, myself, have a difficult time speaking after 5 brain surgeries. Hence, that is why I communicate using the computer. All I remember of my husband's failed attempt, was the continual "run-around". Would it help if I contact the local VFW?

You can refile again. When was it denied? I was denied my frist time for PTSD and chronic lower back claims. Second time around I got a Proved. Like with VA and SSI benfits they normal dismiss your claim becuase the Gov does not want fork over the money. Keep trying. They do recoinize AO exposures and the medical problems that was cause by AO as serivce connected. Get the Mil. Order of the Purple Hearth serivice Org on your side with your claim filling. They have some the best people.

snarf3456, I'm one of those widowed statistics...even though my husband's doctor wrote, in his medical files, exposure to Agent Orange contributed to his death, VA denied his claim.

Actual that false now. The VA does reconize the effects of agent orange. It's never to late to apply for suriver benfits. Iraq War Medic.
