fact is Arsenal lack players of his true quality. The team is average with a couple of world class players and the manager doesn't know what hes doing.

yeah that was mainly becoz of arsenal club policy for players above 30...if he had got better contract instead of 1 year extension...he would have stayed..

he wanted to leave, keeping player that wants to leave is a bad thing for the club and for the player both

if I were Arsene...i would have kept him in the team atleast for experience if not playing him now and then...he really can be useful to Nasri(touted as the new bobby),walcott....i think that even now he has the ability to influence games...
