  • @sunsets25 Well you're certainly guaranteed to gain a great deal of power with a supercharger. I wouldn't mind having a cobra either - what mustang enthusiast wouldn't? But it would be hard to trade my mach for one. It wasn't so hard trading the gt for the mach as gts are a dime a dozen. I think you will be happy with whichever one you decide on, though.

  • @darkryder2004 Ahh, you are planning way ahead! Too funny, I only think exhaust when I think about cats anymore I guess that's because I'm getting old :> I love my Bullitt, I haven't installed any power adders yet, but considering a KB S/C, just not sure if the money in makes sense over just trading to a cobra. It is lowered, has staggered 18s, MGW short shifter, FR aluminum driveshaft, nothing mind blowing yet.

  • @sunsets25 Yes. No kids yet, though. That's just talk of the potential future. Good thing I still have a lot of time to enjoy the car ;) Admittedly, I don't know a whole lot about cars and sometimes the terminology goes right over my head. The first time I heard of the words "catless" and "catback" I will tell you that the furry animal that purrs and has whiskers was not the last thing to enter my mind lol. So how do you like the bullitt? Do you have any mods for it?

  • @darkryder2004 We are like minded car nuts. Sounds like at least some parts of your Mach1 will make it to your son. If your plan is to hand it down, enjoy the guts out of it. If you do break it, you'll have a great father son project of bringing it back to life with twice the power. You can't lose!

  • @sunsets25 Indeed. While I am fond of mustangs in general, I have a keen interest in mach 1s, bullitts, and terminators as they are unique and were limited in their production - which makes them all the more valuable. It's actually funny because I treated the GT more gently than the mach. I would just like the chance to perhaps pass the car down to my son one day, if it makes it that far.

  • @darkryder2004 Love the Mach1s, those shakerhooded motors are sweet. I am enjoying a Bullitt right now, I do miss driving the 07 GT, I never felt bad about beating it up. The Bullitt though took me so long to find, that I treat it like a grandpa car. I never thought I would be "that guy" but here we are...

  • @sunsets25 I had an 06 GT before the mach 1. I also enjoyed listening to the stock exhaust as it was rather throaty and aggressive - even more so than the stock exhaust on the mach 1. Unfortunately, I never did get to properly burn out with her like I should have.

  • The burnout looks amazing when filmed from a bird's eye view. Cool video.

  • Yep 2007 GT 5spd Manual
