  • Why are snails even a problem? They hit algae and plants, but not fish, so why care?

seriously, why not just let snails do what snails do? I mean, it depends on the species, but if you have the right ones, whats the big deal?

  • @kurtilein3 i like to keep them under control.I dont want to look in to my tank and see hundreds of snails all over the glass.

  • WOAH, what species of snails are those? are they like tiiny flat ramshorns? with clearish shells and no outward spiral (not to one side- reduces into itself?)? because if they are, i have that same species in my tank and i think theyre awesome XD. i normally don't like snails. crush reg. ramshorns without a second thought. apparently no one can identify this species. could you do like a macro vid or just closeup pic of some? do you have a fttv account? can mike to 7534 pull ups in a row? NO! duh

  • @microiguana yeaj that sounds alot like what they look like!!

I'll amke a video and put some pics up on fttv over the weekend .

My name on fttv is Killian(KETIMENE)

  • i have made one like that but its biger and it catches fish, i left it in the tank while i had a shower and i come back to find tow fish in it... lolz

  • @GirlSpiritWolf lol try and cut a small enough hole in the bottle cap so that no fish can get in but big enough for the snails to get in :)

  • @rockwork69 snails would never disappear lol thats a point! They are practically nuke proof! They would be the last thing to disappear!! And for those who thinks that penny tricks works well yes its the copper that will kill them but it will also fry your shrimps too so be careful!! Preferred options are to buy fish that eat snails or keep killing them...you will find they actually benefit the tank and plants!

  • what snails are turtle safe and dont need sand?

  • @KETIMENE yeah i will thx!!! :)

  • @rockwork69 ok thanks for you opinion ! :)
