Backflip fail

It has been my new years resolution for five years in a row to do a backflip and I never get around to it, but this year, I've finally gotten in shape.

This is not a video of my fulfilling my resolution.

Saturday, July 3, 2010, I was out in Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Square with my friends Itai, Dan, Pat, and Dani. Itai is a former state champ in gymnastics and competed at a high level in college. I always bug him to spot me. On this day, we randomly met a guy in the park who had some pretty sick moves (acquired through capoeira skills), so I decided we needed to give it a shot.

Itai's the one who gets punched in the face and stumbles out of the frame.
