Metal detecting in a pasture where a one room schoolhouse once stood. The thistles and grass were tall making swinging a little difficult. I also had to dodge the occasional fresh cow pie. The ground was much harder to dig than yards or fields, it has been a while since we've had rain.

I found one 1947 wheat penny, one Bull Durham charm, and one glass dome.

I was using my Minelab E-Trac on 2 tone ferrous.

I had a nice relaxing evening watching America roll by on Interstate 80.

  • @MarcfromTreasureNet1 Thanks for the ID on the glass. That makes sense. The back of the glass looks like tin. Water probably got inside and messed up the design.

  • Thanks for taking us along on your hunt Henry! Congratulations on the finds!
