  • You do the runners pivot slightly different on the left side than you do on the right side. When the left leg is swinging, your left arm is counterbalancing, but when your right leg is swinging, your left arm is counterbalancing. Just wondering which technique is better, or if it makes a difference.

    Does this make sense?

    Thanks for the great video!

  • @Burnaby1 LOL! That's just my dyslexic brain having trouble with opposites. When your right knee is up, your left arm should be up and when your left knee is up your right arm should be up.

  • @jakehjakeh Looks like these resistance bands they use in Pilates. I guess a resistance tube will to the job too. I will give it a shot anyway.

  • Oh this is awesome!!! I had started running a couple years ago and I didn't realize how week my medius and minimus were and my Tfl band got tight and I have had runners knee problems and did not understand why it was happening. I went and got my hips and knees xray'd because it hurt so bad. The Doc just said theres nothing wrong you have weak muscles and patted me on the head and sent me away. But even now 2 years later it hurst. But its good to know that there are exercises to do to help. Thanks

  • I like the music

  • hey, i have a really weak gluteus medius and it is because i had an hip operation and was on crutches for 5 months not using the left leg, when i walk i sort of limp and its what you've shown i have the exact same symptoms , i've been physo and i've been given the leg raise exercise. how long do you think it will take to strengthen the left leg fully. i do 3 sets of 10 leg lifts a day and briding twice

  • Thanks for the great exercises...what is that rubber band looking thing you are using?
