The ICC's warrant against Omar al-Bashir, the Sudanese president, has been met with mixed emotion worldwide. Many argue that al-Bashir should be brought to justice for alleged war crimes in Darfur. But others believe the toothless warrant will bring nothing but more misery to Darfur.

  • @kitayabi United States wants to make Africans and Muslims and any NONWHITE NATION accountable to WHITES and ROMAN statutes yet the United States will not become a ratified member!

  • #1 the courts of the DEVIL don't have the MORAL AUTHORITY to charge this man with CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY. THE Devils spray toxic chemicals in the air over our cities and populated areas with their airforce to keep us sick. These bastards lace "vaccines" with HIV and CANCER CAUSING SV40 to kill billions of africans keeping them DEPENDENT of White WELFARE!! THE ISREALIES are the ones that arrest warrants should be issued for.

  • Albasheer have done no thing wrong in Darfour other than enforcing law, Sudan and darfour flourishes during his presidency. Some goverments support the rebel groups, provide them with weapons, political support and the ICC is one of these tools to support the rebel leaders who enjoy 5 star hotels life in London and Paris while thousnads of darfour people lives a misrable life in refugee camps. The world will not forget the real unquestioned criminals i.e Bush and Blair and their horrible crimes.

  • Sudan has failed to arrest el Bashir and the rest of the world who think they do care about other are moving so slowly-not even a turtle can move that slow! You all know that crimes have been committed in South Sudan and genocide is already committed in Darfur. Politic always ruins the life and the well being of the people of Southern Sudan and Darfur! Think justice before peace! Because without justice, there may be no real peace at all in Sudan! We all know who Omar el Bashir is; why pretend?

  • You see it's all a matter of double standards. The bilateral relations between China and Sudan is very equivalent to the bilateral relations between the US and Israel, the bond refuses to be broken either politically or economically. Because Sudan is oil-rich, on poor terms with the West, and is a military dictatorship, this is why action against Sudan is being taken.

  • Look! I thought christians have good sense of judgement and what it means to behave as an indidividual who can distinguish between good and bad! No wander why el bashir is ruinning the Southern Sudanese and Darfurians' life. I believe Evangelicals have something to do with genocide done in Darfur and the war crimes that have been commited against the people of Southern Sudan! Period! I will be hoping to see more of these evangelical priests or believers in the futures!

  • dont people ever look back in time...havent people learnt from what Idi Ameen did, this is just the same thing that is going on but a different person. The world needs to do something, the people of sudan are innocent. they dont want war or oppression, they are hungry. I m pretty sure they can do anything as long as they have food on their table.

  • The opinions given by Rev Graham are obviously one person's views on policy from his perspective on the situation. Evangelicals may have opinions which go either way on whether the ICC should have issued the arrest warrant. I suppose many of us evangelicals are skeptical about international courts and world government anyway, as it smacks of the prophesies of Anti-Christ.

  • Rev, Graham understands Sudanese better Than former ambassador.and he seemed to understand the nature of the conflict, sorry that the former ambassador is one sided diplomat
