These series of videos demonstrate how to explore wide intervals inside the pentatonic scale. This approach will help you create different types of licks, more commonly known as "intervallic licks."

The lesson is aimed to an advanced guitar player. In other words, you should be comfortable with basic soloing, pentatonic scale patterns and blues licks. It's not recommended to watch the videos out of order.

  • @YourMorningGlory why shouldnt musicians and teachers make money.?....so art should all be free? we don't go to where you work and ask for a free big Mac.

  • 22 dislikes? My guess is half ppl watching this have no clue what hes talking about and cant do 2nd or 3rd interval soloing. These r great ideas 4 those who r good enough to incorporate into their playing.

  • Great stuff...thanks for the contribution...every bit helps me develop my playing, much appreciate it...and keep up the good work!

  • 7:45 reminds me of MacGyver

  • Strange that jazz does need bends to make it not boring

  • There are so many A-Holes on the internet. These jerks actually feel entitled to free lessons, and then they bitch.

And those a-holes are never good players. I always look at their Youtube channels, they always suck. They complain and never get good.

You should be happy that this man takes the time to learn our language and make lessons for you and me.

When was the last time you made that kind of effort?

  • @guitarguy12345678901 rofl xD

  • @Jery30917 youre deaf if you think thats an italian accent

  • wow~ when he try to ... shred that pantatonic , its so fast that i cant even tell if his fingers are moving ..... ~ amazing

  • Wow, I was about to write some unpleasant comment like 'you could explain it better and add some tabs, dick' but actually in the next video there are charts and close-ups. Thanks man, I feel guilty.

  • 23 can't play pentatonic scales

  • I admire that he's disciplined enough to alternate pick that stuff. I usually hybrid pick it. Using a combination of pick and fingers is probably more comfortable and easier, but it might not be the best choice if you want his punchy sound. Also, alternate picking makes it easier to have consistancy of tone.
