I'm pretty anal but you have to be mentally ill to let banding bother you. If you get a static screen of a certain color, if you get close to the tv you can see a tiny color difference at some points of the screen.

you can hook up pc to any tv with hdmi cable without loss in quality - pixel2pixel qulity.
Because hdmi=dvi (almost). Use pc-dvi to hdmi-TV cable.

Best quality with HDMI cables. You will need a computer that has a good video card or HDMI output. S-video is not as good.

Yes, you can hook it up to a PC, when he went to the VGA, and said "can you imagine hooking it up to your TV", he meant hooking this TV up to your PC.
