  • Who does not like B.T. is an arrogant fool IMO!

  • @gillan64

I love Bernie's style and also how after years in the business he is still so damn fresh. A mighty talent

  • the guy is not only a genius guitarist, is a terribly nice man, he has played with Ian gillan, ritchie blackemore and ozzy, what more do you need to know. Yes he likes to do his punk/style free expresion guitar style stuff, whatever you wanna call it.

After playing for the best of him, he deserves to be able to play excatly waht he wants, he is well and last I heard had a music studio in Kent. lx

  • @Peelick

lol; I an the opposite, I find Brad's playing very hard to listen too. It sounds so macho and cliche.

  • Wicked sound he has going there. Suits his playing.

  • saw him every tour with Gillan - he's channelling Hendrix, awesome

  • @mattsuzo 'gillan64' I agree!

  • The nearest to Hendrix alive today!

  • @gillan64 A1+.

  • @wcb2591 Man, I must say I agree. I don't get it either, Brad Gillis will tear this cat a whole new ass. Personally i don't really see how he got that gig..

  • @wcb2591 I was there, this was recorded on a camcorder in a room not much bigger than the average sitting room, so any criticism of his sound and tone are pretty redundant. As far as his style goes, who are you to criticize ? It obviously suited Ian Gillan and Ozzy, and if you don't like habitual use of the whammy bar, I suggest you stop watching your own video that you posted. FYI he was using a 62 strat (given to him by Ozzy).

  • Bernie's great and has been for a long time. Raw, electric and alive. No triple tracked prissy overly articulated solos for him! Strat into Marshall press record... Technique is not the end all be all. Sometimes guitar teachers play solos that sound like... well... a guitar teacher soloing. No fire, no fun. It must be sad for wcb2591 that Bernie wasn't what he wanted/needed him to be. He probably wouldn't like Ollie Halsall, Rory Gallagher, Uli Roth or Ritchie Blackmore either...
