In 2002 Karl Rove and members of the Bush political machine hijacked the Alabama Gubernatorial Election.

On the night of the election popular Democrat Don Siegleman went to bed with the election won, only to wake up the next morning and find the election had been stolen. He was then jailed on trumped up corruption charges, and remained there until 2008 when he was released pending his appeal.

Congress is investigating the Republican case against Siegleman, and Karl Rove has been subpoenaed to testify on July 10th, 2008.

He is not expected to show up.

  • Karl Rove got the Governor thrown in jail, just to create an issue so that his Republican opponent could win the election. If that level of contempt for American democracy is not punished, then our democracy will not survive.

  • Nancy Pelosi belongs in prison.

  • Nice try Dumbocrat. You're the party of ACORN, dead voters, throwing away military votes...

  • Who the hell do these Republican whores think they're kidding? We KNOW they're all guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors! They couldn't have won their offices without breaking or twisting the law.

    Wake up, Amerika!!!

    Dak!

  • These Bush Administration bastards and bitches have to be dragged before a stable legal court of law and summarily found guilty and hung! Simply because none of them are worth wasting a bullet on. Bullets are too expensive...something like 25-35 cents apiece. Then bury them all in a common grave with no headstone.

And this suggestion is my nice one!

    Dak!

  • The White House and Congress are all criminal and should be locked up immediately. Wait until the food shortages hit and people are starving to death. These gangsters have sold us down the river, and there will be hell to pay. They spend $55 billion every year developing diseases in Ft Detrick's bio weapons program, these weapons are to be used against us, we the people. That's why they are not afraid of repercussion. That's why they thumb there nose at us.The cure for tyranny is the guillotine

  • The whole "front office" at the White House is criminal. Our lawmakers have given these guys carte Blanche to bring this country down. If WE ignored a federal subpoena and created our own terms for testimony, Marshals would come and pick us up and place us in jail. Why don't the American people ask why these people have special immunity? The last time a country and it's people got hoodwinked and it's people were gullible enough to suck up bogey-man fear and nationalism, was GERMANY.

  • I agree that Karl is a criminal but don't think the Democrates have the backbone to really do anything about it. They won't even hold an impeachment hearing and have not gone after other administration folks that didn't show up to testify under oath. Nade is looking better and better.

  • The evidence that shows Karl Rove an his men were doing this was right in those emails. It was at least 500 emails that they looked through.

Now the question is will Democrats think about saving themselves from losing close races to this or will they allow this continue?

  • Basically he was able to make sure that the soldiers votes were not counted therefore New Mexico's votes would end up benefiting Bush by around 10,000-15,000 votes more for him. Now if Karl Rove and his guys also were sending emails about this to the white house however they made on key mistake. Some of the emails they sent were to the wrong site and the owner of that site contacted Greg Palast and his team investigated what was in these emails.

  • Let's not also forget another major issue with Karl Rove. He helped Bush win his second term. According to investigative reporter Greg Palast and his team they found that Karl Rove and his team were involved in CAGING VOTES. One example was Karl and his men challenged 70,000 votes in New Mexico which belonged to the U.S. soldiers stationed in Iraq.

  • Along with the rest of the congress/senate who voted FOR the wiretapping bill, Democrats and Republicans all.
