  • nice report,

Looks to me the High Elf player panicked before the game started, and never got back to his senses.

  • my bretonnians could beat that lizardmen army, second turn charge into his slan block with 9 knights of the realm and 10 grail knights with 1 lord and bsb. And to the chakax comment ok.....he is like 355 pts then a slan is around 300 for a cheap one, then a big block of temple guard, that would be around 1000 pts in a 2000 point game. half your army into one block.

  • being a lizardman player for a fair while i would say that the high elves made huge mistakes, they should have charged the stegs with dragon princes and dragon and fired everything they had at the temple guard before charging the best 2/3 units they had at it.

shame they didn't have special characters as chakax in a unit of temple guard with a mage-priest is a nigh-unstoppable force, the unit is unbreakable and immune to phsychology with a character that is almost invulnerable in challenges

  • No you're wrong. Stubborn only allows unmodified LD for break test it does not allow them to ignore the auto break part of fear.

  • nice vid though!!!

  • white lions are stubborn so they take leadership tests as a normal unit against fear and terror causing enemies (when beaten)

  • I don't know what High Elves can expect to do against Jurassic Park lists. The recommendation is lots of RBT, but it just doesn't kill fast enough. The cheesiest thing about High Elves are their special characters, but if those aren't allowed then I'm not sure what to say. What do you guys think he could have done?

  • High Elf was making too many mistakes.

His deploy was bad (especially the knights), his dragon was ineffective and he didn't even try to redirect the big unit of Temple Guards (I know it's hard for HE to do that, but he could at least try with the eagle and with the knights).

Anyway, great battle reports, keep it up!
