HOW TO USE AT&T IPHONE WITHOUT DATA PLAN

I found this little glitch and i thought i would make a video about it.

HOW TO:
1. Download PWNAGE Tool (For Mac Only): http://www.revotech.org/mirror/PwnageTool_3.0.dmg

2. Follow the process. MAKE SURE IT IS HACKTIVATED!

3. Pop In Your AT&T Sim Card and your good to go!

I want an iphone without data plan but i still want to text and call thats it.

All the other apps i can just use wifi. If i do this method will i be able to text and call but not be charged for a data plan

Could you have used a sh*ttier camera, please? Also, you're not shaky enough; I can still make out the blurs in the video to be an iPhone and an AT&T sim card.

if you have a cell phone that has a sim card, and your phone plan has data completely disabled, you CAN put your sim into an iphone, as long as the sim you are putting in from the same company. put your sim in, turn on the iphone, go to Settings, go to general, go to network, then make sure that "enable 3g" and "cellular data" are turned off. not sure if this works with the newer iphone, since i did this with the iphone 3g. Hope it helps!

Can't you just take a non-data sim card, put it in the phone and turn off the data in the settings menu?

@XC4RRiED keep a spare att phone and swap the chip everytime they add a data plan. they will do this twice a month so you have to watch it and call them for the other phone. or just do like i did fire their ass!
