Jazz Nights at ALMA - August 1, 2008

The Armen Donelian Trio features Donelian (piano), David Clark (bass) and George Schuller (drums). The evening program will include songs from their latest CD Oasis.

Called A pianist with a crystalline touch, but a penchant for avant gardism (New York Times), Donelian has performed in numerous jazz festivals and venues around the world. This will be his second time performing with the Trio under the Jazz Nights @ ALMA concert series.

The ongoing concert series takes place in a café-like setting at ALMAs Contemporary Art Gallery. The concerts feature performances by both established and up-and-coming groups from the New England and surrounding areas. Past concerts have included performances by Vardan Ovsepian, John Baboians The Be-Bop Guitars, Earthsound and Classic Groove.
