And what does this say? Well I beleive it says don't waste 700 dollars on a compound bow when you could buy or even make a simple longbow that could do just the same thing kill a deer easily so why waste money on this? And also dry firing wooden bows really doesn't effect them

I just accidentally dry fired my bow, it is brand new. I was adjusting the pull weight, pulled it back and my finger slipped on the release. Nothing is visibly wrong but I am nervous on what I might find out tomorrow.

@bigfshin2 the top mission line bow is 699, this year it's the Voyager XT.

My stepfather dry fired my bow, the only thing that happened was the peep flew out and my string silencers flew off

i accidently dry fired my bow(night time black arrows) i dont see anything wrong with it, do i have to worry about it breaking any time soon?

Least you didn't dry fire a crossbow...fortunately I did it on the last day of hunting season!

Wow you have a lengthy repair man but the good thing is you wasn't injured. And as purchasing used bow never i purchase mine from the store brand new with everything from receipt and owner manual.
