Put a softball/baseball in the pocket roll the thumb side of your glove under your little finger side and jam it in between the dash of your car and your windshield on a hot day for a couple hours..... take it out and play catch with it and then put it back on your dash. It takes 4-5 times to get your glove real loose but the leather becomes workable after the first time in the sun. No oil or vaseline needed.
