@jeremyfinch You're clearly very ignorant. Obviously I know what a 'plig' is since I just explained the distinction to you. In your post, which I was replying to, you remarked that the difference between Mormons and 'pligs' was akin to the difference between Catholics and Protestants, implying that there was a large degree of difference in doctrine and belief between Mormons and Fundamentalist Mormons, when in fact there is not. Your comparison was invalid as I pointed out.

@FlowerChild65 um DUH! Obviously you didn't understand my post. Do you even know what a plig is? It's what Mormons call polygamists. And polygamists don't openly call themselves Mormons unless they're trying to sneak into a temple. But thanks for your pedanticism.

@jeremyfinch Actually it isn't, not at all. The characters on Big Love are Mormons only the mainstream LDS church denounces them because they chose to continue practicing polygamy after the Mormon church banned it in 1890. They are fundamentalist Mormons.
