You only ruin the spoiler for normal anime ppls, Naruto Fans are already following the manga and they pretty much watched the whole series, you didn't ruin anything, Itachi's lie was ALREADY noticable since Naruto, all ppls made rumors, and we saw some flaws in him, like always leaving Sasuke half-dead instead of finishing him? OF COURSE Its obvious he loves his little brother, why didn't he kill Jiraiya too? Or whole Konoha? It was obvious from start.
