Contrary to popular opinion, I actually think Britain is pretty good at sport; sometimes we win and when we don't we often come pretty close, though I think sometimes we can be called bottlers. So to see Kelly get this single, last chance and to take it so comprehensively and with the minimum of fuss is truly inspiring. One of my favourite Olympic moments.

I am from germany. I didn't know about her and who she is. I saw this 800m and 1500m finals here on youtube and now i know, what a brilliant athlet she is/was. Amazing!

Considering we usually come top 3 or 4 in the world each olympics I'd say we're a pretty good country at sport considering the size of our population.

I still get goosebumps when I watch this. So much passion.

I believe in a few years when I look back at Mo Farah's 10,000 and 5000m wins today I'll probably feel the same way about them races too. Moments like them that make you proud to be British! For such a small nation we really do pack a punch.
