One of my recent rescues has gotten to me.. The pictures are of Foster. A happy loving DECLAWED tuxedo that was severely neglected and left to fend for himself. Luckily he went to the right people for help and Foster is safely indoors as an office kitty at my fathers work. The collar and ID tag were placed on him to prevent animal control picking him up until he could be placed.

I am sick and tired of people leaving their pets to fend for themselves! They think its better they live outside where there is danger around every corner then simply keeping the pet for life or last resort bring to a rescue or shelter. Especially peoples regards with cats. Their not completely independent animals people. Look at what this poor cat went through: Starvation, fleas, and poorly infected skin and coat. Wake UP! Their domestic cats NOT wild animals. House cats means they live in houses NOT in trash bins..

Music is from the 9 Movie soundtrack by composers Danny Elfman and Deborah Lurie

Pictures taken and owned by Gina DeNofa

  • Sweetvegan, tha nk you SO much for showing Foster's sad reality & condition due to abandonment & neglect. He is one of the very few lucky ones. Most do not find help, or touch any warm heart, but instead face persecution, harrassment, cruelty & abuse daily as they struggle to simply live & find a morsel of anything to stave off the terribly endless hunger pains. You do a service to these needful helpless creatures with this. And thank you, for helping Foster find salvation, love & life again.

  • @scruffylittlecat

I do this every day of my life. If other people just kept their furry family members properly, get them fixed. I would be out of a hobby that I would be thrilled to be rid of. But sadly that will never happen. People are too careless

  • I can only do the fostering, that's heartbreaking if they die due to illness not caught soon enough. My heart and my spirt would be destroyed seeing all the pain that comes with rescuing like you do. I trapped a stray I was trying to get over the winter. Nothing was working, I called someone like yourself and BooBoo was caught, happiest day of my life turned to sadness. The rescuer was required to put him down. I cried and still cry. Most times I hate people. Cats are not disposable.

  • I'm sorry you lost the kitty. But you did your best for her otherwise she would of suffered a lot more.

  • I actually cryed!

  • how could a person ever be so heartless to an animal :(

  • *they're

  • I just knew it was going to happen... A sweet young all grey cat my neighbor leaves outdoors all day has disappeared 4 days ago. They kept a water bowl outside for him while they were at work, wasn't that enough?. I hope he is ok and has a better home now. He is a friendly guy.

  • maybe it ran away..... perhaps??? had one run away as an adult, and return over 5 years later beggin for food like aint ish happen.. i love cats and animals, but sometimes they are kinda unpredictable.... and no abuse was made to the cat. we then took care of him till he died

  • @boswellperkins Hi, for the time that he wasn’t hanging around, he could have gone to his new home and then returned to his old home. I have no idea if he did that, but by the look of him and how wild he was reacting, it was apparent that he was living on his own for a long time.

  • @felinesxhugx how do you know the cat hadnt run back to the old home?

  • how i found out that it was next door neighbors cat i was taking my cats out into the back yard to run around (i stayed with the cats) and the guy was going out somewhere and he said to me i had a cat just like that one 2 yrs ago so i told him i found BIG 2 yrs ago (the guy named him Dog) do u want him back i asked and he said no he seems happier living with you
