Now, is the AN1X better than the motif es 6 (rack)? Or does it have a totally different sound? I'm confused because the the AN1X is more than 10 years old and the Motif Es 6 has the same price.

wHEN THE BATTERY GOES, DO YOU HAVE TO RE-LOAD THE SOUNDS, LIKE THE 80'S SYNTHS OR ARE YOUR PRE-SETS AND EDITS THERE. iF YOU DO HAVE TO RE-LOAD THEM, IS THERE SOMETHING YOU CAN GET FROM YAMAHA - i WOUD REALLY LOVE TO BUY ONEOF THESE, BUT SINCE IT IS DISCONTINUED, i NEED TO KNOW WHAT TO DO IF BATTERY DIES, HOW WAS IT DONE "BACK IN THE DAY" BECAUSE i DON'T USE MY PC FOR SOUNDS.

That Oxygene IV and Laserharp are the ones I posted on the Yahoo group a few years ago but it's nice to see so many more have been done. The AN1X's symphonic chorus is excellent for Synthex impressions and the phaser is good for smallstone types sounds.

where did u got the minipops sound from in the beginning?

I don't exacly remember but I think that I sampled Minipop phrase from some track.
You can also make rythm from samples , If you want just search Minipop samples ;)

I used AN1x phaser only.
This version of Solina is bad...
