I think the reason that there're a lot of negative responses to this documentary is because people can't seem to deal with the fact that something like this actually played a huge part in human history. They seem to think that just because beer today is used for fun and getting drunk and that sometimes bad things can come out of drinking it, that there's no possible way it had any important significance in our history, which is completely wrong.
