1.5 horsepower, 700 r.p.m.
Water hopper cooling.

    Totally restored not in the original LISTER colors but Grey, and Antracite colored valve cover and governor and other small details. And a compact but stabel tropical hard wooden trolley....

  • UK Engines run on Listerine? The mouthwash? Unbelievable! I bet it runs on the alcohol in it. I never heard of such engines down under, mates.

  • What a great rebuild, all credit to the engineer. This engine was the backbone of farm and small industry power in the uk, and indeed around the world for many years. It was nice to see one in full spate. Thanks for the post, hang in there, people like you are saving history for us cretins who know nothing about it.
