Agreed Kenrg. The people on the ground there had expected that the opening of the Embassy for business would be the occasion where the tent would be removed from the lawn (Embassy grounds) to the sidewalk (Public space). Instead it was another reason: The VP motorcade.

i have huge respect for these people, and very few know about darfur in my area, do you think anything like protests happen in England. we really need to raise awareness. boh3m3 did a great job and i think if more people did what he did and knew about it then alot of people will know and get involved. Tom Lantos is a great person and Congressman. One of the few good and honorable people in that institution. Glad to hear this announcement from him.
